After lunch it's a visit to Sounion, a dramatic temple on the Attica peninsula offering incredible views over the bay. Dinner will be at a seaside taverna in Sounion whilst the sun sets.
3 After breakfast, checkout of your hotel and enjoy a morning at leisure before taking a coach transfer to Delphi, a stunning location and any classicists dream! Check-in to your hotel and enjoy your evening meal at your hotel.
4

Discover Delphi site and museum, home to The Delphic Oracle (also known as Pythia) and one of the most famous Oracles that ever existed in Greece. Venture to the Sanctuary of Athena, where you'll find some of the most picturesque ruins in Delphi that overlook a beautiful valley carpeted with olive trees. As you head to the eastern part of the Sanctuary you'll view the site of the Mycenaean settlement. Although it has undergone considerable destruction due to landslides and earthquakes, you can still sense the site's importance in Greek society and witness the beautiful Doric architecture featured here. Lunch will be at a tavern in Delphi as you overlook the glorious bay. Afternoon transfer to Olympia and check-in to Hotel Antonios. Evening meal will be at your hotel.

5 Following breakfast, it's a guided tour of Olympia - the very site of the Olympic games which were celebrated here every four years by the Greeks. Located in the valley of Elis, this sanctuary consisted of buildings associated with games and the worship of the Gods. It became the Greek national shrine and contained treasures aplenty with temples, statues, monuments, theatres, votive buildings and offerings of brass and marble. This is also the site where the statue of Hermes and Sanctuary of Zeus were discovered along with many valuable objects during the excavations which started in 1829 and finished in 1961. Lunch will be at the hotel followed by an afternoon transfer to the peaceful seaside resort of Tolon. Check in to your hotel - Hotel King Minos which offers magnificent views across the bay. Evening meal will be at your hotel.
6 After breakfast, it's time for some more guided tours, this time you'll visit Epidavros, Nafplion and Mycenae. All sites play their part in history - Nafplion was the ancient capital of Argolis and the capital of modern Greece between 1821 and 1834. The Fortress of Palamidi can also be found here, and was built by the Venetians in 1685 to strengthen the city of Nafplion. At Epidavros you'll find the Asclepieion - the most celebrated healing centre of the Classical World, where ill people went in the hope of being cured and spent a night in the enkoimeteria, a large sleeping hall.  Lunch will be at Mycenae, one of the major centres of Greek civilization in the C2nd BC with a military stronghold that dominated most of southern Greece. Here you'll find The Tomb of Agamemnon and the ancient Citadel of Mycenae with the Royal Tombs and Lions Gate. Evening meal at your hotel.
7 Breakfast and morning at leisure in your luxury hotel. After lunch enjoy a relaxing afternoon boat trip to the stunning Islands of Hydra and Spetses. Evening meal at your hotel.
